About the Role
As a Claims team leader at Reserv, you will be responsible for a team of claims professionals managing claims in your experienced line of business. We want your background and experience to deliver operational effectiveness, particularly in leveraging technology and analytics to drive better efficiencies and performance. You will serve a critical role with the team, the customers, and the client. The high-performing team you will manage will service several clients as part of our Core Team. You will maintain high quality standards, and compliance with regulatory, internal, and external contractual SLAs. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, and a foundational understanding of claims with experience handling and managing a team of individuals.

What We Need
Reporting to the team manager you will manage the day to day operations of a team of motor adjusters managing a mix of accountsLooking after your own caseload and overseeing larger losses and contentious casesBe consistently dependable in achieving or exceeding goals and overcoming obstaclesImplement and maintain best practices for claims handling, including claim intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recoveryMonitor and analyse claims data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for process improvementAlign team with client and customer expectations of the claims processServe as a resource for escalated claimsResponsible for accuracy and adequacy of all aspects of claim reservingWorking with the team managers to develop and implement strategies to mitigate fraudulent claims and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsFoster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage professional growth and developmentExecute on performance management; attract, hire, retain and provide high level of trainingCollaborate with internal teams, such as Account Management, Compliance, and Claim Operations, to resolve complex or escalated claims-related issuesEstablish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including policyholders, agents, brokers, and legal representativesPrepare and present comprehensive claims reports, metrics, and analysis to internal stakeholders; proactively advise your manager on claim trends and loss mitigation strategiesRequirements
Chartered Institute Qualifications minimum of DIP CII or equivalent (we will consider those working towards or already in the role)10+ years in insurance claims management experience in multiple lines of business, preference for property, general liability and / or motor with bodily injury experience5+ years of management experience with a preference for experience managing in a remote environmentComfortable with technology and the ability to evolve the claims systems and processes to drive better efficiencies and outcomesDemonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detailIntegrity, ethics, and a strong sense of accountability in handling confidential and sensitive informationBenefits
