Sales Engineer - Security

Base pay range

$140,000.00 / yr - $140,000.00 / yr

About the Role

We\'re partnering with a client in the cloud security industry that\'s looking to add a Sales Engineer to their growing go-to-market team. In this role, you\'ll work alongside Account Executives to handle technical discovery, deliver tailored demos, and guide prospects through proof-of-concepts.

This is a hybrid pre-sales role with a strong focus on identity security, cloud workload protection, and threat detection . You don\'t need to be a developer, but you should be hands-on in customer environments and comfortable explaining security trade-offs to both technical teams and executives.

What You\'ll Do

• Support the sales process from discovery through close in partnership with AEs.
• Lead product demos and technical deep-dives across :
• Identity & Access Management (IAM) - SSO, MFA, lifecycle management.
• Cloud Security (CNAPP / CSPM) - securing workloads across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Build and manage customer proof-of-concepts (POCs) that demonstrate value quickly.
• Translate technical features into compliance and audit benefits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, NIST).
• Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams.
• Stay current on security trends, cloud architectures, and regulatory changes.
