Financial Controller

Mesa, AZ (On-Site, 5 Days)

$175K -$185K Base + Bonus

We're partnering with a high-growth technology and advanced materials company in Mesa, AZ—backed by private equity and positioned at the forefront of clean energy and electrification. The business is scaling rapidly and seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to build out its accounting infrastructure and drive financial rigor through a phase of significant expansion.

What You'll Do

Own the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

Establish and strengthen internal controls, processes, and policies

Oversee AP / AR, payroll, and treasury operations

Support ERP implementation and system integration

Lead audits, tax compliance, and financial governance

Partner closely with the CFO and PE leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives

Build and mentor a lean, high-performing accounting team

What We're Looking For

8–15 years of progressive accounting and controllership experience (industrial, manufacturing, or capital-intensive environments ideal)

CPA or equivalent professional credential strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience managing audits

ERP implementation experience and strong Excel / analytical skills

Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, high-growth setting

Willingness to relocate within the U.S. in the next 1–2 years
