Traveling Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Overview

Skillforce has teamed up with an industry leading general contractor to find a skilled Project Manager – Commercial Construction for a full time travel job.

Location : This is full-time travel with weeks and months at a time at different job sites throughout the US.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary : $85,000 – $95,000

Overtime : Estimated $10,000+ annually

Bonus : Performance-based bonus potential

Per Diem : $35 / day (with receipts)

Vehicle & Lodging : Company vehicle with fuel card for business travel; lodging arranged internally

Requirements

Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review

Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Ability to travel frequently and manage multiple project sites

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables

Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contract obligations

Lead project teams, coordinate resources, and resolve issues to maintain progress

Monitor financial performance, provide reporting, and support profitability goals

Maintain a flexible work schedule from home base when project demands allow
