Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant at Signature Orthopedics St. Louis in St. Louis, MO. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to assist healthcare professionals, including taking patient histories, preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, and maintaining medical records.
The Medical Assistant will also provide direct patient care and support the overall functioning of the medical office.
Qualifications
- Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology skills
- Experience working in a medical office setting
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Knowledge of medical records management
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting or related field
- Experience with electronic health records is a plus
