Controller

About the Company :

Dynamic distribution company backed by private equity seeks an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations, reporting, and controls. The role demands private equity expertise to drive value creation, EBITDA growth, and exit readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressively senior experience, including work with private equity-backed companies, ideally within distribution or related industries.
• Strong foundation in general accounting principles, including U.S. GAAP compliance, month-end and year-end close, financial statement preparation, audit coordination, and oversight of third-party service providers.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and scale efficient accounting processes while supporting strategic growth initiatives.
• Experience overseeing portfolio company accounting operations and managing regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with business intelligence tools to enable accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making.
