We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. This Contract-to-long-term position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment, managing payroll processes for a large workforce. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in handling complex payroll tasks, including garnishments, and a strong command of multi-state payroll systems.
Responsibilities :
- Process and manage garnishments for a large number of employees with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Administer full-cycle payroll processing, including data entry, validation, and reconciliation.
- Manage payroll for multi-state employees, ensuring adherence to varying state-specific guidelines.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to maintain employee payroll records and process payments.
- Handle payroll for employee groups ranging from 101 to 500 individuals.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Generate and review payroll reports to verify data integrity and compliance.
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration, including garnishment processing.
- Proficiency in full-cycle payroll operations, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Experience managing payroll for multi-state employees.
- Familiarity with payroll systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards across federal and state levels.
- Ability to handle payroll for groups ranging from 101 to 500 employees.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to address employee payroll concerns and collaborate with internal teams.
