Equipment Mechanic

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic to join our client team at a full-service shipyard specializing in marine repair and new construction . This role is essential in maintaining and repairing various types of equipment used in daily operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in small engine repair, electrical and hydraulic system troubleshooting, and heavy equipment maintenance .

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform maintenance and repairs on telehandlers, manlifts, air compressors, and welding machines .
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems .
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with the team to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and industry best practices .
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and preventive maintenance.
