Segment Strategy Associate
As a member of our Segment Strategy team, you'll play a key role in shaping how Wellmark competes and grows in our core market segments. You will serve as a central hub for your assigned segment, partnering closely with Product, Market Insights and Competitive Intelligence, Marketing & Communications, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to translate market insights, customer needs, and competitive trends into clear segment strategies and go-to-market plans. This means connecting dots between data and real-world decisions, ensuring our segment strategy is aligned with corporate objectives and is clearly communicated to stakeholders at all levels.
The ideal candidate is a curious, analytical, business-minded professional skilled at turning data into clear insights and recommendations. You have experience in developing strategies through analysis and cross functional partnerships, with a talent for communicating complex ideas to various audiences. Comfortable with ambiguity, you're eager to learn about industry dynamics, able to influence without authority, and build trust with your peers and leaders. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as is a drive to support Wellmark's growth and improve member experience.
