Maintenance Manager
The Company Manufacturing site in Illinois is looking for a Hands-on Maintenance Manager with 5 years minimum of Commercial or Captive heat treat experience.
The manager will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating all maintenance tasks and activities including but not limited to PMs, Inventory Control, SAT / TUS per AMS 2750G, repairing heat treat equipment, furnaces, draws, scanners, belts, fans, hot boxes, refractory, radiant tubes, etc.
Help with installation of new equipment or de-installation old equipment.
This person will read / interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics or engineering specifications. This person will have good electrical and mechanical knowledge.
This person will work towards continuous plant improvements and maintain a well-organized maintenance / tool shop.
This person should have excellent welding and fabrication skills. This person should have at least 5 years experience in repair, assembly, disassembly, brazing, soldering, welding, installing equipment, maintaining, adjusting or lubricate machinery, trouble shooting (locate, identify, diagnose, repair and test).
Estimating time and material cost for repairs. building maintenance, forklift operation and tool use are required. Good communication, record keeping and organizational skills is a must.
This person will have good people skills and be task oriented. They will set objectives and provide realistic timelines to complete.
They will manage all maintenance records including EPA, SWPP, quench oil, fire, chemical, or any other applicable records.
