Supervisor of Admitting

Cornerstone Treatment Facility Network is a respected leader and innovator in the chemical dependency treatment field for more than 25 years. We are seeking to fill a part time Admitting Supervisor to work at our facility located in Fresh Meadows, Queens New York weekends and holidays when assigned. Must have a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience, working in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include but not limited to as follows :

Oversees daily operating routines of the admissions office.

Oversee pre-admissions; verifies insurance coverage; manages intake process.

Manage Electronic Medical Records (eCR) activity and progress

Identify and forward to appropriate personnel eCR issues

In the absence of the Medicaid Manager, process Medicaid applications

Ensure driver’s vehicles maintain compliance standards

Schedule, interview and process paperwork for potential candidates

Develop, implement and maintain Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance reports inclusive of outside attachments, LOCADTR3 and medical clearance forms.

Arrange transportation for patient admissions, discharges and appointments.

Supervises on the job performance of all admissions personnel.

Train all admitting staff in all aspects of admitting department including Electronic Medical Records.

Ensure the timely processing and transfer of Rhinebeck patients

Ensure the timely processing of all discharged and conversions

Ensure call center messages are answered timely and documented properly

Ensure staff Performance is up to standard.

Ensure proper staffing is secured.

Maintain contact with marketers and referral sources.

Oversees / directs patient census.

Be proficient in CTFN search policy and procedure.

Ensure incidents reports are completed and submitted timely to the QA / QI Department

Ensure timely submission of PTAR report

Ensure HERDS report is completed timely. On Sunday and Holidays the report must be completed for both Rhinebeck and Fresh Meadows facilities

Ensure Efaxes are labeled and distributed

Ensure staff reviews and updates pre-admission list weekly

Performs all other duties as assigned.
