Creditors Rights Attorney

Overview

Growth minded firm seeking attorney with a Creditors Rights background. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload, advocating for creditors' rights, and representing our clients in legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in discovery, motions, and litigation and must be a member in good standing of the Oregon Bar.

Base pay range

$100,000.00 / yr - $155,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, mediations, and arbitrations related to creditors' rights and collections.
• Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in order to resolve disputes efficiently and favorably.
• Advising and counseling clients on their legal rights and obligations, potential risks, and recommended courses of action.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations pertaining to creditors' rights and collections.
• Collaborating with legal staff and other stakeholders to ensure the effective management of cases.
