Salary Range : $85,690 – $125,000 base

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading food and protein manufacturer, is seeking an Industrial Engineer with experience in poultry or protein processing. This role is responsible for driving process optimization projects, leading lean manufacturing initiatives, and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, cost reduction, and production reliability.

The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in process engineering along with hands-on experience in poultry or protein plant operations. This position requires strong problem-solving, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to balance analysis, design, and implementation.

What You’ll Do

• Lead efficiency improvement projects and analyze complex production workflows
• Conduct root cause analyses and design process modifications to enhance productivity
• Develop and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee cost reduction projects and provide solutions for capacity and layout challenges
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve yields
• Analyze operations and develop labor standards, best practices, and process improvements
• Design workflows and production processes to resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies
• Ensure projects are delivered on scope, on budget, and on time, with quality outcomes
• Enforce safety, ergonomics, and compliance standards in all projects
