Overview
The Director of Venue Operations is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and
activation across all venues. This role oversees day-to-day venue performance, leads
Regional Managers and venue-level teams, and drives consistency, profitability, and guest
satisfaction across locations. The Director partners closely with Sales, Revenue Operations,
and corporate leadership to align venue operations with company growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage venue operations across all locations, ensuring standards for service,
presentation, and performance are consistently met.
Oversee Regional Managers, construction and venue management teams, providing
coaching, accountability, and professional development.
Drive venue-level profitability through effective labor management, expense control,
and revenue optimization.
Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations to ensure seamless activation of new venues
and successful rollout of promotions and programs.
Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of venue
management, including technology, compliance, safety, and service delivery.
Monitor venue performance metrics (sales, activations, retention, labor ratios, guest
satisfaction) and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
Lead coordination of special projects, construction projects, openings, and remodels in
partnership with the Operations and Facilities teams.
Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations governing entertainment,
gaming, and food / beverage operations.
Serve as the key liaison between field operations and corporate support teams.
Qualifications
7+ years multi-location operations management experience, preferably in hospitality,
entertainment, or retail.
Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of developing high-
performing teams.
Passionate about developing and growing individuals and teams
Deep understanding of P&L management, operational KPIs, and performance-driven
leadership.
Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale initiatives across multiple locations.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to adapt in a fast-paced,
growth-oriented environment.
Willingness to travel frequently to venues as needed.
