What You'll Do : Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Maintain clear and professional communication with staff, visitors, and / or the public while on patrol. Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and site requirements. Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points during patrols, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related issues. Minimum Requirements : Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
