About the Role :

This is a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with the firm’s owner and play a key role in the firm's leadership and future. You’ll manage tax engagements, build client relationships, and help us continue to grow — all with a clear path to partnership.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee, preparation, and review of individual, fiduciary, and business tax returns.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies and planning for clients.
  • Conduct tax research and prepare recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering high-touch service.
  • Support and enhance client relationships through proactive communication.
  • Mentor staff and contribute to a positive team culture.

What We're Looking For :

  • Public accounting experience or other extensive tax planning & preparation experience.
  • Proven leadership skills and a strong desire to grow into a partner role.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CCH Axcess and QuickBooks experience a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant CPA designation preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, or a related field.
