TheRegistered Occupational Therapist will provide patient care basedon a comprehensive assessment and written evaluation tailored tothe patient s needs and medical condition.
This role requirescompliance with hospital and physical therapy department policiesand procedures. The therapist will also contribute to thedepartment s performance improvement plan and the hospital scommitment to continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilitiesinclude maintaining and enhancing occupational therapy knowledgeand skills through conducting staff inservices and attendingcontinuing education courses.
Effective communication skills andcomputer proficiency are essential along with adherence to theStandards of Practice for Occupational Therapy and the Code ofEthics established by the American Occupational Therapy Association(AOTA).

MinimumQualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
- Stateof Oklahoma Occupational TherapyLicense
- BasicLife Support (BLS) certification within 30 days ofhire
Education :
Graduateof an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with a BS MS orDoctoral degree in OccupationalTherapy
Duties&Responsibilities
- Providecare in compliance with hospital and department policies andprocedures.
- Participatein performance improvement and quality improvementinitiatives.
- Conductstaff inservices and attend continuing educationcourses.
- Adhereto the Standards of Practice for Occupational Therapy and the AOTACode ofEthics.
