Senior Accounting Financial Systems & Consolidations Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Financial Systems & Consolidations Analyst to lead and support our consolidation and financial reporting, data flows, and reporting integrity. This role is key in managing ERP and consolidation system integrations, ensuring the quality and consistency of financial data across platforms, and driving continuous improvements in financial systems and processes.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience with financial systems, strong accounting background and data operations, particularly in environments with multi-entity reporting, consolidations tools, and ERP systems. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our consolidation platform (OneStream), supporting system integrations (e.g., Epicor P21), enhancing financial reporting capabilities, and collaborating cross-functionally with finance, accounting, FP&A, and IT teams.
Essential responsibilities include :
- Lead and support the ongoing maintenance, upgrades and enhancement of OneStream, including managing data loads, journal imports, metadata maintenance (GL accounts, departments), and system upgrades.
- Oversee financial systems integration activities, including data mapping, validation, and testing, particularly between Epicor P21 and consolidation / reporting tools.
- Create and maintain documentation for financial system processes and controls.
- Support post-acquisition financial systems integration efforts, ensuring seamless transition of acquired entities into the existing financial reporting environment.
- Build and maintain automation processes and data forms to support improved visibility into capital expenditures, cash flows and roll forwards at the consolidated level.
- Build consolidated reports and datasets (e.g., capex reporting, benefit costs), ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
- Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A teams to enhance reporting capabilities via BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau and improve availability of key financial insights.
- Act as the primary liaison between finance and IT for financial systems, supporting system upgrades, testing, data integrity, and enhancements.
- Document and maintain financial systems processes, data flows, and controls, and contribute to the development of best practices in financial data management.
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes through automation or system enhancements and work with relevant teams to implement solutions.
- Support internal control processes related to data accuracy, system access, and financial reporting workflows.
- Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Experience, education & physical requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.5+ years of progressive experience in financial systems and accounting / finance roles, with a strong focus on consolidations, financial reporting, and system integration.Proven experience building and maintaining financial data forms, external reporting templates, and schedules to support consolidated reporting and planning.Prior experience integrating acquisitions from a systems and reporting perspective.Demonstrated success leading high-impact projects in fast-paced and dynamic environments.Hands-on experience with OneStream or similar enterprise consolidation / reporting platforms (e.g., HFM, FCCS).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, modeling); experience with data analysis, system testing, and automation tools is a plus.Deep understanding of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, including data structures, validation, and IT collaboration.Comfortable navigating complex databases and working within cross-functional, technical environments.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including intercompany eliminations, multi-entity consolidations, and foreign currency translation.Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and build high-performing teams; prior people management experience preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting and system concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Executive presence with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership.Process-oriented thinker focused on driving efficiency through system and workflow improvements.Highly data-driven, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a continuous improvement mindset.Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo, facilitate change, and implement innovative solutions.Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across functions while taking full ownership of deliverables.Hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves approachwilling to dive into the details to drive execution.Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing industries is a plus but not required.Ability to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen / speak clearly on the phone and in-person.Ability to pass job-related employment screenings.Compensation & benefits :
