Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric physician employment in California : An outpatient facility is seeking a geriatric psychiatric nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

Patients will meet with a social worker prior to the appointment to prepare to meet with clinician. During the appointment, the social worker will be present to facilitate as needed and provide continuity of care for the patient. Appointments are scheduled for 1 hour for initial evaluation and 30 min for follow-up. Patients are older adults ages 55 and up with severe and persistent mental illness with life impairments, and living in their own homes or board and care / assisted living facilities.
