Design beautiful and intuitive interfaces for RPG and card-based games.

We’re crafting rich, stylized interfaces for titles like Stellar Dominion and Realms of Gaia — and we’re looking for designers who understand both aesthetics and usability. You’ll help shape intuitive, immersive UI for everything from space fleet loadouts to character menus, chat overlays, deck editors, and interactive world maps.

We value thoughtful layouts, smart transitions, and design systems that scale. If you love turning complex systems into smooth player experiences — and you have a soft spot for pixel-perfect UI or cutesy fantasy interfaces — let’s talk.

Responsibilities

Design intuitive, scalable user interfaces for gameplay, menus, HUDs, and meta systems

Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new features and game flows

Collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure UX supports gameplay goals

Develop and maintain reusable UI components and layout systems

Balance visual style with functional clarity — especially for inventory, map, and battle interfaces

Design with accessibility, readability, and localization in mind

Contribute to UI animations, transitions, and feedback states where appropriate

Qualifications

Strong portfolio showcasing game UI / UX design, including mockups, prototypes, or shipped titles

Experience with UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar

Understanding of game design principles, player psychology, and usability in interactive systems

Ability to create elegant solutions for complex game systems (e.g. inventories, chat, deck builders)

Familiarity with implementing or exporting UI assets into engines (OpenFL, Unity, or similar)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote, developer-first environment

Self-directed and comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative pipeline

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with animation, icon design, or game art pipelines
