Job Description
As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process by operating computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts.
Your responsibilities will include reading production orders, interpreting blueprints, adjusting machine offsets, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Read production orders, gauges, and interpret blueprints and material specifications.
- Adjust machine offsets to control finish dimensions and ensure proper machine setup.
- Translate detailed part drawings into measurements for production.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
- Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and sawing operations.
- Inspect finished products using appropriate gauging techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation and traceability records.
- Operate overhead crane and forklift as needed.
- Perform basic equipment and tooling upkeep, including shop housekeeping.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong math skills, including decimals and fractions.
- Working knowledge of machine maintenance and operation.
- Mechanical aptitude with basic machinery and tooling knowledge.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Basic computer skills.
- High attention to detail and quality.
Job Details
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.
- Loud noise levels in the manufacturing shop environment.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a CNC Operator or completion of a CNC program from a technical or trade school.
