Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Paterson, NJ

Job Summary :

True Progress Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Paterson, NJ. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ABA therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our mission is to empower these children to reach their full potential, and we're looking for a passionate and motivated individual to help us achieve this goal.

Responsibilities :

Implement behavioral intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Collect and record data on client behavior and progress

Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure consistent and effective therapy

Provide support and guidance to clients and their families

Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and therapy sessions

Requirements :

Hold a current RBT certification or be willing to obtain one within 6 months of hire

1 year of experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Ability to work part-time, with varying schedules, including weekends and evenings

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
