Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures. Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed in response to incidents. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and / or providing directions to visitors. Support a welcoming environment by offering assistance and information to customers, tenants, and guests. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol Full-Time in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for visitors and staff. Monday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
Tuesday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
Friday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
Saturday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
Sunday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
