Customer Service Manager – Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Service Representatives across multiple locations to deliver exceptional service and meet performance goals.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Plant Leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Oversee accurate order processing, customer inquiries, and issue resolution to maintain a seamless customer experience.
- Evaluate existing processes and implement new procedures to improve efficiency, communication, and overall service delivery.
- Use data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure accountability within the team.
- Travel to a secondary location every 4–6 weeks to support staff, maintain alignment, and build team cohesion.
Customer Service Manager – Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of customer service or inside sales management experience in a manufacturing environment (required)Proven ability to lead and motivate teams of 5 or more employees.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a people-first approach to leadership.Demonstrated success improving workflows, solving operational challenges, and managing cross-functional collaboration.Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.Hands-on, proactive leadership style with a focus on employee development and engagement.
