Description : Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

About the Job :

This part-time, benefited position is 28 hours per week, rotating every other weekend. The schedule includes 10-hour weekday shifts and 8-hour weekend shifts. There may be a sporadic need to provide coverage at different locations for schedule needs or vacation coverage, which is eligible for travel / mileage reimbursement.

Job Description :

Under general supervision, the EMT assists the Providers, Nurses, Clinical Assistants, Patient Service Representatives, Clinic Management, and Practice Administrator / RN in delivering expert medical care to our patients.

Day-to-day activities will vary from greeting patients, telephone coverage, visit registration, assisting / directing patients with inquiries, operating diagnostic radiographic equipment, and collecting patient information, all while executing our goal to provide top-notch care.

Overall, this position has a direct interaction with patients and is an integral component in helping deliver our mission of bringing ER expertise to life's little emergencies.

Requirements :

• The ideal team member will have prior relevant experience in a similar or same environment, 1-3 years preferred.
• Emergency Medical Technician certification, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent, is required.
• As we provide services seven days a week, this job does require evening hours and weekend rotations.
