We are currently seeking a skilled and driven individual to join our team as a Lead JD Edwards Developer. This position will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Lodi, California, conveniently located near Sacramento.
Flexible Schedule : We offer a flexible schedule for this role, allowing for remote work on Tuesday and Thursday, and on-site collaboration on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
This blend of remote and in-person work provides the ideal balance of convenience and teamwork.
As a Lead JD Edwards Developer, you will play a vital role in bridging business requirements with IT solutions. Leveraging your extensive knowledge of JD Edwards, you will design, build, and maintain system integrations.
Troubleshooting and ensuring smooth system operations, as well as delivering efficient and effective development processes, are key responsibilities of this role.
Main Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to transform business requirements into accurate application specifications.
- Create and implement integrations between JDE and other systems, prioritizing an API-first approach.
- Utilize JDE EnterpriseOne Tools (RDA, FDA) and other supported toolsets, including EDI, to develop, test, and implement programs.
- Resolve system issues and errors in a timely fashion, following OMW / Department guidelines.
- Extend and enhance the functionality of existing systems, implementing necessary refactoring.
- Produce stable, reusable code, adhering to team coding style and standards.
- Manage multiple projects, effectively prioritize tasks, and handle daily workload.
- Participate in peer code reviews and technical meetings, offering constructive feedback.
- Collaborate closely with the development team on support and development efforts.
- Maintain regular communication with the project manager, supervisor, and team members regarding software development progress.
- Support QA, UAT, and integration testing, including executing test cases as required.
- Conduct preliminary testing of applications as a critical step in the deployment process.
Requirements :
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science.
- Have 7+ years of experience in system design and programming.
- Possess 7+ years of experience with JDE EnterpriseOne toolset, including Orchestrator and BSSV.
- Demonstrate experience with Orchestrator Studio, Monitor, and API development strategy and implementation.
