Responsibilities
- Answering phones
- Greeting patients and checking them in
- Managing the schedule for our physical therapists (including scheduling, cancelling, rescheduling, and balancing workload)
- Collecting payments from patients
- Creating and managing patient charts
- Requesting referrals/authorizations from medical offices
- Calling patients for scheduling or other purposes, as required
- Educating patients about our additional services and products and making sales
- Filing/scanning
- Assist therapists/clinic staff as needed.
- Other general office administration, housekeeping and marketing tasks as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Are You Right for FYZICAL?The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Superb interpersonal skills—friendly, polite, ability to be enthusiastic about each patient’s care and progress toward treatment goals, ability to be empathetic with patients who may be irritable or difficult because of their pain or illness.
- Strong organization skills—ability to multi-task, prioritize competing demands, keep track of tasks and required activities, and return to complete tasks when interrupted; self-motivation to make calls to fill the schedule during less busy times.
- Unrivaled attention to detail
- Ability to address patient concerns in a professional manner and find solutions to difficulties that are impeding their care (training will be provided)
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and ability to learn programs specific to the practiceWhat FYZICAL Can Offer You:
