Lovely family seeks a polished and energetic Housekeeper to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of their residence in Mt. Kisco, NY. This is a Monday to Friday (7 : 30am-3 : 30pm) full-time, year-round, live-out position. The ideal candidate is extremely meticulous, has a proactive approach, and is a team player. The candidate must be dog friendly and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a team. Great benefits!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Daily cleaning, care, and upkeep of main residence, guest house, and garage apartments
- Conducting museum-quality cleaning with specialized care for delicate surfaces including wood, glass, leather, furniture, furniture, antiques, silver, brass, etc.
- Maintaining residence for guest readiness at all times, focusing on aesthetics and cleanliness
- Procuring household supplies; including grocery shopping and stock level management
- Hands-on formal and semi-formal food and beverage service
- Maintaining a sanitary and neat kitchen, ensuring counter tops are clear and clean at all times
- Ability and willingness to run errands and carry out special requests as needed
- Additional Housekeeper duties as requested by the principal
Requirements :
Strong command of English language; excellent communication skills, both written and verbalDog friendlyExcellent references required from both current and previous employersMinimum 3 + years related experience working in a private home in a similar role or roles for a private familyKnowledge and experience cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, furniture, antiques, silver, brass, etc.Ability to work both independently and as part of a teamExceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilitiesFocus on maintaining aesthetics of residence at all timesAptitude to execute formal food and beverage servicePhysically agile; able to navigate an expansive residence and occasionally in a fast paced environmentLegally able to work in the United States
