Job Description :

Responsible for receiving incoming telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner, greeting patients, verifying demographic / insurance, collecting co-payments / deductibles, and various clerical duties.

Job Responsibility :

• Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls, and if appropriate routes them appropriately.
• Organizes messages and delivers them promptly to the necessary individual.
• Greet patients and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Verify insurance coverage and demographic information.
• Obtain insurance referrals and authorizations.
• Direct patients to appropriate waiting or clinical areas.
• Explain financial obligation to patients or responsible parties and collect. copayments / co-insurance / deductibles as required.
• Facilitate or create appointments for follow-up care, diagnostics procedures, physical therapy, or pain management.
• Other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
• Varying shifts between the hours of : 7 : 30am - 8pm
• 1-2 late nights (11 : 30am-8pm) required
• Rotating weekend (1 / month) required
