TITLE : EMS Engineer

LOCATION : Onsite in Alsip, IL

SHIFT & HOURS : First Shift

COMP RANGE : $75,000 - $80,000

Griffith Foods is hiring an EMS Engineer responsible for implementing Environmental Management Systems (EMS) under the ISO14001 standard in both Alsip and Lithonia manufacturing sites.

As an EMS Engineer, your responsibilities will include :

• Supporting environmental management in ensuring compliance with local regulations, the site's environmental policy, and global requirements
• Coordinating the site's legal review to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and implementing the required Action Plan.
• Implements the site's ISO 14001 certification process.
• Consolidating, tracks, and reports on environmental metrics and incidents using the tools and platforms provided by the Global Team.
• Leading efforts to improve environmental metrics.
• Other duties as assigned.
