Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Coordinate Production Activities :

  • Collaborate with the production team to schedule and prioritize manufacturing activities based on customer orders, production capacity, and deadlines.
  • Monitor production progress, ensuring adherence to established schedules and adjusting as necessary to meet changing demands.
  • Communicate with various departments, such as purchasing, planning, and logistics, to ensure the availability of materials and resources needed for production.

Quality Assurance :

  • Work closely with the quality control team to ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production processes and products to identify and resolve any quality issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

    • Documentation and Reporting :

  • Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, performance metrics, and any relevant documentation.
  • Generate reports on production output, efficiency, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present production-related reports to management as required.

    • Process Improvement :

  • Identify opportunities to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Participate in regular production meetings to discuss challenges, propose solutions, and drive process improvements.

    • REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the metal fabrication process, including cutting, welding, bending, and

    • finishing techniques.

  • Familiarity with different types of metals and their characteristics for fabrication purposes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications related to metal fabrication.
  • Knowledge of equipment and machinery commonly used in metal fabrication, such as shears, press brakes, laser cutters, and welding machines.
  • Understanding of quality standards and specifications specific to metal fabrication, including dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
