Salary : $56K-110K DOE
Work Location : Savannah, GA
This is a full-time position responsible for the planning, implementation, operation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide cybersecurity infrastructure and systems. The role requires strong technical expertise in network security and system hardening, along with hands-on experience in managing firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS, access control, and compliance-driven security operations. The Security Administrator will work closely with IT and application teams to ensure security is integrated across all systems.
Job Description
- Operate and manage network and security infrastructure including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, VPN gateways, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools
- Perform real-time monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and remediation
- Design, implement, and maintain secure architecture across LAN / WAN / WLAN infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure and application teams to ensure security requirements are incorporated into system design and deployment
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and compliance audits (NIST, ISO27001, etc.)
- Enforce security policies, procedures, and controls in line with industry best practices
- Manage configuration, updates, and patching of security systems
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and incidents
- Operate and support physical security systems including access control, surveillance (CCTV), and building entry systems
- Support rollout of global security policies in coordination with HQ
- Assist in managing vendor contracts, renewals, and performance for security-related equipment and systems
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experienceRelevant experience in network security or security administrationStrong knowledge of security protocols (IPSec, SSL / TLS, RADIUS, 802.1X) and network protection strategiesExperience with threat detection systems (IDS / IPS, SIEM, EDR / XDR)Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) for documentation and reportingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBilingual proficiency in English and KoreanPreferred Qualifications :
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CISSP, Fortinet NSE, Azure Security Engineer)Experience in large-scale enterprise or manufacturing IT environmentsFamiliarity with LG IT security solutions and compliance standardsAdditional Information
