As we expand our project pipeline, we're seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a strong design sensibility to serve as the connective tissue between design, construction, and client experience.

Position Overview
As a Project Coordinator , you are someone who thinks both creatively and operationally. You appreciate beauty, proportion, and materiality-but also timelines, constructability, and clarity. You enjoy partnering with designers and builders alike, bridging vision and execution. You take pride in a polished and seamless client experience, and you hold yourself to high standards in organization and communication.
What You'll Do
- Act as the design-to-build liaison : translate architectural and design intent into clear project plans, schedules, and communication with field teams.
- Coordinate design documentation (drawings, material selections, finishes, shop drawings, submittals) and ensure version control and clarity.
- Maintain alignment between design changes and construction implications (cost, schedule, constructability).
- Support project managers and lead designers in driving project momentum, anticipating roadblocks, and keeping all stakeholders informed.
- Monitor project progress, flag risks, track dependencies, maintain design / construction logs, and follow up on design deliverables.
- Facilitate cross-discipline coordination (architecture, structural, MEP, interior design), and ensure that the design vision is respected during execution.
- Assist in client-facing design review meetings, present design options, capture feedback, and manage revisions.
- Contribute to the quality assurance of finishes and design details during construction and punch lists.
- Help develop internal design and project processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field3-5 years (or more) of experience in a construction, remodeling, or design / build role with exposure to design coordinationStrong fluency in architectural and design documentation (plans, sections, elevations, perspectives, details)Experience with project management tools, scheduling software, or design collaboration platforms (Procore, Buildertrend, Asana, CoConstruct, or similar)Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and fast-changing prioritiesExceptional verbal and written communication skills-able to translate technical design details for non-design stakeholdersA keen eye for details in finishes, materials, design intent, and spatial relationshipsProactive problem-solving mindset; anticipates issues and proposes solutions rather than reactingPreferred / Plus
Familiarity with permitting processes, codes, and the local Southern California construction environmentExperience or interest in client-facing design consultationFamiliarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or RevitCompensation and Benefits
