Nurse Manager RN / LPN

Job Description : Supervise professional and non-professional nursing staff. Ensure quality of care by making rounds to determine effectiveness of care, resident satisfaction, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide explanation of nursing care to residents and families according to procedures. Provide instructions relating to medical care as appropriate. Administer direct and / or emergency care when necessary. Respond to emergency needs of residents. Contact emergency medical services for assistance when required.

A sample of duties may include :

• Develop & implement new employee orientation training programs
• Create and deliver intermittent re-training plans for clinical staff as needed
• Facilitate on-site support programs & troubleshoot questions / problems as they arise.
• Keep up to date on all releases of IDPH changes and communicate any impact on clinical staff / teams.
• Extract data / reports from Point Click Care (PCC) for Leadership as requested
