Job Description
The candidate will work with customers and other project stakeholders to provide software development support for various software products supporting Army Aviation programs.
Duties and responsibilities will include :
- Work on an Agile development team, designing, implementing, documenting, building, and unit testing software in a platform-independent software development environment.
- Collaborate with other software developers and systems engineers to ensure quality products and interoperability with other system components during design, implementation, and integration.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have a minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent field from an accredited university or program.
Candidate should also be a U.S. citizen and a resident of the Huntsville, Alabama area already.
- Strong knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (C++, C#, Java, etc.)
- Experience with database interfaces
- Experience with gdal-warp and down sampling
- Experience with quantized mesh for 3D terrain tiling
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design methods
- Agile software development processes
- Strong mathematical proficiency
- Understanding of object-oriented concepts and complex data structure.
- Knowledge of Army aviation system architectures a real plus.
- Experience providing software engineering and development support for Army Aviation is highly desirable.

- Visual Studio Code, Git, Atlassian Tools & GitLab
- C++ / C# and Typescript / JavaScript Development
- Experience with Fortify Static Code Analyzer
- Experience with cesium and aurelia
- Desire to improve / refactor existing code for better efficiency and / or user experience
Security Requirements
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
