New Patient Coordinator – Flossophy Dental Group (Orlando, FL)
Full-Time | 40 Hours | Includes On-Call Availability | Bonus Eligible

As the first voice and face of our practice, you will be the go-to guide for new patients from their very first inquiry until they’re comfortably seated in our chair. You’ll provide warm, personalized service — by phone, text, or email — helping each patient feel confident, informed, and truly cared for every step of the way.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and enthusiastic about helping people. You’ll work closely with our front office and clinical teams to ensure each patient has a smooth onboarding and scheduling experience.

Key Responsibilities :
Proactively and warmly engage with all new patient inquiries via phone, text, and email — both during business hours and while on call (after-hours & weekends).Build trust with new patients by listening to their needs and guiding them through the scheduling and onboarding process.Schedule new patient appointments strategically, optimizing the provider schedule and patient availability.Verify insurance benefits in advance and clearly explain them to patients before their first visit.Coordinate with the team to ensure a seamless experience once patients arrive.Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in Open Dental (preferred software).Track new patient inquiries and conversion metrics.Collaborate with the team to follow up on pending treatment or unscheduled appointments.Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve new patient flow and communication.What We’re Looking For :
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a dental officeExperience with Open Dental is highly preferredFriendly, empathetic communicator with a professional phone mannerSelf-motivated and highly responsive — especially during on-call hoursConfident handling dental insurance verification and patient benefit explanationsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong team player who thrives in a positive, upbeat cultureComfortable using technology and multi-tasking in a fast-paced settingWhy You’ll Love Working at Flossophy Dental Group :
