What You Will Do
Event Setup
- Prepare bar stations with necessary tools, glassware, garnishes, and stocked inventory prior to guest arrival.
- Ensure all bar elements are aligned with event standards, including specialty cocktail setups or signature drink presentations.
- Confirm cleanliness, organization, and readiness of bar area for service.
Beverage Service
Greet guests courteously, take drink orders, and prepare cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.Provide knowledgeable recommendations and answer questions about beverage offerings.Uphold responsible alcohol service standards and verify guest identification when necessary.Guest Experience & Engagement
Maintain a welcoming, energetic bar environment while anticipating guest needs and providing personalized service.Monitor guest consumption and respond appropriately to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.Keep bar areas clean, stocked, and visually appealing throughout the event.Event Breakdown + Cleanup
Execute thorough bar breakdown, including cleaning surfaces, storing inventory, and disposing of waste.Return tools, glassware, and unused product to appropriate storage or kitchen locations.Leave bar area organized and event-ready for future functions.Teamwork + Communication
Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and event managers to ensure seamless service timing.Communicate beverage needs, product shortages, or guest concerns promptly and professionally.Support team members during peak periods to maintain smooth operations across all areas.What You Need to Have
2–3 years’ experience as a bartender in high-volume, upscale, or banquet environments.Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, beer, and responsible alcohol service practices.Familiarity with POS systems (Toast preferred).Valid, non-expired Basset and Food Handler certifications.Exceptional guest service, multitasking, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in fast-paced settings.Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.What We Offer
