Texas Certified Professional Coder

A company is looking for a Certified Professional Coder Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Review medical records and verify documentation for diagnostic and procedural codes

Manage a test lab of devices for reproducing customer issues and provide support via phone, email, and chat

Document all customer interactions according to standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred

CPC certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) or equivalent required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in an outpatient setting

Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and guidelines

Proficient in Google Sheets and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
