Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Traveling Biomedical Equipment Specialist, specializing in Sterilizers to support healthcare facilities from Philadelphia to Maine and the surrounding regions. This role functions as a Subject Matter Expert in sterilizer systems, while also bringing advanced expertise in one or more high-end healthcare technology modalities.

The specialist will serve as a technical leader within the region, operating independently with minimal supervision, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced clinical equipment inventories. This position requires strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional SME and modality expert for sterilizer systems, ensuring peak performance and adherence to manufacturer and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sterilizers and other advanced clinical equipment across multiple facilities.
• Provide technical expertise in related equipment areas, including high-end biomedical devices, capital planning, and device networking / integration.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to develop maintenance strategies that support clinical and operational goals.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, records, and reports.
