Job descriptionBasic understanding of Lathes and Mills General understanding of GD&T Computer literate (Microsoft Office software) Must be able to work independently, accommodate schedule pressure and multi-task. Must be organized and be able to communicate well with other personnel. Flexible (willing to take on other duties as needed) May need to occasionally work 8+ hours Must be U.S. Person within the meaning of ITAR Engineering Degree (preferred) Minimum of 1 years aerospace quality assurance experience (preferred) Comprehends English; proficient in reading and writing. Possesses knowledge of AS9100 standards and how it relates to this position. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Be able to move parts without help. Able in a nosey environment. Able to work with minor supervision. Process products and process with quality failure. Performs product, process, and system audits and verifies effectiveness of corrective actions that were taken. Responsible for the initial quality review of product non-conformances to requirements of drawings, contracts, PO’s and specifications. Resolve non-conforming material. Move, sort and organize non conforming product. Processing, analyzing of quality metrics, improvements and communicating results. Quality Control : Works in partnership with the department supervisor, quality and engineering departments to ensure that product quality standards are met and maintained. Department Performance : Assist supervisor and work with peers to ensure your department meets budget, delivery and quality objectives. Use and practice 5S methods and lean manufacturing principles to accomplish department goals. Attends organization and department meetings as needed. Participates in any Lean or Six Sigma projects as requested. Other duties as assigned

Job Summary : Provide full support to QCMI in all areas of Quality. Requires strong technical and analytical background coupled with good communication skills and an understanding of manufacturing processes. Focus on processing non-conformances using and maintaining quality system policies, procedures and continuous improvement techniques.
