POSITION SUMMARY

Perform a broad range of responsibilities including manual assembly, operating welding machine, laser marker, laser cutter and / or dimple machine tasks. Support department production tasks by operating, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and perform tasks in manual assembly, operating weld machines, laser marker, laser cutter and / or dimple machines.
• Perform set up and operate production processes as specified by traveler or work order.
• Read and follow technical instructions, drawings, work orders and maintain specific tolerances.
• Maintain records of marked parts, job travelers and inspection logs.
• Report defects, equipment malfunctions, or deviations from specifications.
• May perform laser marking and / or engraving on machined metal parts.
• May conduct in-process inspection on work output.
• May perform assembly process functions.
• Ensure quality product by checking for burrs, burns or incomplete cuts.
• Maintain accurate records and logs as appropriate and applicable.
• May train others as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
• Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.
• Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.

Pay Rate : The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.

1st shift position : 5 a.m. - 1 : 30 p.m.

2nd shift position : 1 : 30 p.m. - 10 p.m.
