• Ability to work independently and in a team setting, performing both simple and complex tasks
• Troubleshoot basic fluidic and electronic components
• Strong communication skills

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Ensure operation of custom automated laboratory equipment by completing preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with quality policy
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidic, and optical devices/systems, as well as PLC controlled systems.
• Practices safe working habits, follows all safety policies, identifies, corrects, and reports potential safety hazards.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma or GED
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and equipment schematics
• Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience
