Staff Engineer (Remote - US)

In this role, you will contribute to critical environmental and geotechnical projects, providing technical expertise and field support to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will engage in on-site sampling, inspections, and testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex project requirements. The position involves both analytical and hands-on work, translating field data into actionable insights for clients and internal teams. Accountabilities

• Conduct environmental and geotechnical fieldwork including soil, sediment, and water sampling, monitoring well installation, and remediation system operation.
• Perform environmental due diligence inspections, including Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, and prepare customized reports.
• Provide project oversight and support multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address technical issues, regulatory compliance, and project objectives.
• Apply critical thinking and technical expertise to analyze data, identify risks, and recommend effective, cost-efficient solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and project deliverables while supporting team communication and workflow.
• Travel locally and regionally to project sites as required (up to 40%), adhering to safety protocols and project specifications.

Requirements

Preferred certifications : Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Geologist-in-Training (GIT), 40-hour HAZWOPER or refresher.
