About the Role
The In-Room Dining Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the In-Room Dining (IRD) team, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experiences at the 300+ room hotel W West Beverly Hills. This role bridges the Food & Beverage and Hotel teams, delivering elevated dining experiences directly to guest rooms while upholding the brand’s luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily IRD operations, supervising and supporting staff according to business needs and shift schedules.
- Maintain full knowledge of menus, beverages, recipes, and hotel offerings.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and proper food handling at all times.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members while upholding company and brand standards.
- Oversee ordering, stocking, and inventory of department supplies.
- Organize and facilitate the timely delivery and pick-up of all guest orders.
- Prepare work areas for opening, mid-shift, and closing according to company standards.
- Partner with the IRD Leadership Team to uphold service standards and address operational needs.
- Act as liaison between Food & Beverage and Hotel teams to support smooth IRD operations.
- Complete administrative duties including scheduling, attending meetings, recruitment, and updating training materials.
- Monitor the physical condition of IRD facilities and equipment; recommend improvements as needed.
- Be visible and engaged in daily operations—recognizing staff, assisting guests, resolving complaints, and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a hotel or restaurant setting.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset.Proven ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.Computer proficiency (POS, scheduling, and inventory systems).Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently; Spanish is a plus.Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet business demands.Positive attitude, professional presence, and a willingness to learn and grow.Benefits
