The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online IB Film HL tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys — all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring in IB Film HL.
  • Set your own schedule and manage your tutoring availability.
  • Deliver engaging, personalized lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Leverage the platform to communicate with students, track progress, and support learning goals.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in IB Film HL and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.

    • Compensation & Benefits

  • Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40 / hour.
  • Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
  • Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
  • Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
  • We handle the logistics—you invoice for your sessions and we process payments.
  • AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time.
