Maintenance Electrician Lead, Sylmar CA
Pay: $39.28-41.67 per hour, based on experience, plus $1.50 shift differential.
Shift: Second, 2:45pm-11:15pm, Monday-Friday

As a Maintenance Electrician Lead you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the maintenance team to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Inspect equipment and facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational problems and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards, promoting a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and address maintenance-related concerns.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and cost control.
- Train maintenance staff on new equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control related to maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software (CMMS) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance or engineering fields.
