Electrical Engineer - Water / Wastewater

Dewberry is seeking a Water / Wastewater Electrical Engineer (W / WW) to join our MEPS Infrastructure group in our Nashville, TN office. The successful candidate should have experience specifying, designing, and implementing electrical power systems for Water / Wastewater projects. This position has the potential to develop and lead a group of water / wastewater electrical engineers and will report to the MEPS Infrastructure Department Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical power system engineering and design for the W / WW projects.
• Design opportunities include low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout, and related systems.
• Provide electrical specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Review and approve contractor submittals.
• Sizing conduit and wire, laying out electrical distribution equipment, and designing lighting systems.
• Coordinate with instrumentation and controls engineers and other disciplines to successfully execute electrical designs.

Required Skills & Experience

Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to pass a driving record background check.
