Origin Staffing | Recruiting Manager – Accounting, Finance, Tax & Audit

We’re working with a global investment firm that’s hiring a Director of Finance & Analytics for its private equity group. This is a newly created role designed to evaluate current data, reporting, and workflow structures and identify opportunities to enhance how information moves across the organization. The firm already has strong processes in place, and this position will help elevate them further as the business continues to scale.

The role sits within the finance organization and works closely with operations, investor relations, and technology. It’s a great fit for someone who understands private equity data and systems and enjoys improving what already works well, refining architecture, tightening controls, and helping teams align around best practices.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the data governance framework for the private equity finance organization
  • Review existing data flows and reporting structures to identify enhancement opportunities
  • Strengthen consistency, transparency, and alignment across key systems and tools
  • Partner with technology teams to prioritize system improvements and integrationsSupport the development of a scalable data architecture across deal, accounting, and reporting platforms
  • Establish documentation, data standards, and quality checks that keep processes aligned
  • Serve as a central coordination point for data and reporting needs across teams
  • Develop clear metrics to track data health and process effectiveness

    • Ideal Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in private equity, asset management, fund operations, or financial data roles
  • Background in finance, operations, or data governance with strong systems exposure
  • Solid understanding of financial structures, reporting workflows, and private equity data
  • Comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross functional teams
  • Practical, organized, and able to enhance strong processes without over engineering
  • Experience managing or mentoring others is helpful
