This position is an on-site role and reports to the Media Operations Manager. The Data I / O Technician II provides support for digital and physical asset workflows, tagging and organization.
The position will be responsible for the delivery of media, down / uploading assets, troubleshooting failed imports, updating metadata and general asset library maintenance (both physical and digital).
In addition, basic metadata creation / editing knowledge is required. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starting individual who can work independently as well as within an established team.
This role has a 4pm start time.
Responsibilities :
Facilitate the upload and download of digital assets
Facilitate the shipping and receiving of physical assets
Assign appropriate taxonomy and metadata to assets
Maintain usage rights metadata, including validating accuracy
Create and / or edit basic metadata for packaging
Basic understanding of delivery requirements for different client platforms / spec
Maintain Iyuno file naming conventions and asset management protocols.
Support critical and time sensitive requests
Perform other related duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications :
1-2 years experience with a Digital Asset Management system
General understanding of the delivery systems (eg; Aspera, Signiant, P2P, FTP, etc)
Must be computer literate, displaying proficiency in Office 365 Experience with Filemaker Pro preferred
Knowledge of digital file formats
General computer and network knowledge, SQL and database understanding a plus
Computer competency for MAC and Windows XP operating system including system applications (i.e. Command line functions)
Excellent interpersonal skills preferred, with the ability to build credibility and collaborate with associates at all levels
Customer service experience a plus.
Ability to manage priorities against tight deadlines; must be able to multitask in a high-volume environment. Attention to detail, organization, and great follow-up skills

Pay range :
$22.50 / hour-$23.40 / hour
