Job description

Overview Experience Designer, Electronic Arts - Tiburon, a Florida Corporation, Orlando, FL.

Bring life to a diverse set of live programs and events by synthesizing user research findings with business strategies and bringing creative innovation to solve user needs. Create Experience Design deliverables and collaborate with a cross-functional team in design sprints leveraging human-centered and design thinking methodologies. Execute scoped project plans from start to finish, working with stakeholders within CE. Use experience design tools to build a comprehensive view of the current state experience in different journeys as well as the aspirational state. Perform user / customer research in partnership with our Service Design Research Analysts, Insights, Product, and CX Strategy teams. Produce service design blueprints, journey maps, concept designs, service experience prototypes, empathy maps, and value proposition proposals for the creation and evolution of products and services. Map user journeys and help partners define their processes to enable new service experiences. Establish relationships and liaise with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and able to communicate and envision service concepts to team members, stakeholders, and management by using a diverse set of methods & tools that illustrate all the components and touchpoints of the current and future service. Telecommuting permitted.

Responsibilities Lead and contribute to experience design activities across live programs and events, integrating user research with business strategy to solve user needs.

Produce Experience Design deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams in design sprints using human-centered and design thinking methodologies.

Manage scoped project plans from initiation to delivery, engaging stakeholders within CE.

Create and map the current and aspirational state of experiences using design tools; collaborate with Service Design Research Analysts, Insights, Product, and CX Strategy teams.

Develop service design artifacts such as blueprints, journey maps, concept designs, service prototypes, empathy maps, and value propositions for products and services.

Map user journeys and help partners define processes to enable new service experiences.

Communicate service concepts to team members, stakeholders, and management with a variety of methods and tools illustrating all touchpoints.

Telecommuting permitted.

Minimum Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Human-Computer Interactions, Design, Psychology, Computer Science or a related field and five (5) years of experience in design consultancy, user experience design, graphic arts / design or content / service design.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept additional two (2) years of experience in design consultancy, user experience design, graphic arts / design or content / service design.

Qualifying experience must include three (3) years in at least five (5) of the following skills (which may be gained concurrently) :

  • UX design and core service design methods and processes;
  • Service design, experience strategy, interaction design, visual design, or design research;
  • Generative user research and evaluative market / product / service research and user testing;
  • Research, Visual or User Interface Design, Prototyping and Business Process Design;
  • Conceptualization, ideation, and iterative prototyping and experience employing various methods to prototype experience concepts such as clickable prototypes, Wizard of Oz prototyping and role-playing approaches;

Figma, Adobe Suite or similar tools; and

Agile or Scrum Methodology.

Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
